We limit the collection and processing of your personal data to what is strictly necessary within the context of the activities of the MBC stated below, including any other service offered by the MBC:

Information communicated with a view to joining the MBC through a separate form.

The administrative personal data that you provide to us with a view to joining the MBC via the membership form are absolutely necessary to process your application for membership. This information is necessary so that the MBC can make an informed decision about the acceptance or refusal of a request for membership. We must also be able to manage the administration of your membership.

Data collected when you visit our Website: our Website does not use any cookies.

The forms that require the entry of personal data such as name, first name, an e-mail address or a language preference are only used in relation to the purpose for which the data is requested. The person who has entered his own data consents to the processing thereof.

We may use your e-mail address for the purpose of communication in direct connection with the MBC activities.

WHAT DO WE DO WITH YOUR DATA? (PURPOSE OF THE PROCESSING)

The majority of the purposes of processing have their origins in the law of March 1, 2000 establishing an Institute for Corporate Lawyers and the resulting assignments and objectives: admitting you as a member of the MBC and keeping the membership list up to date; the organization of activities such as In Person or online meetings, running surveys etc.

THE LEGAL BASIS OF THE PROCESSING IN THE CONTEXT OF THE PROCESSING PURPOSES SET FORTH ABOVE

We process your personal data in strict accordance with applicable legislation and more specifically on the basis of the following principles:

A legal basis: In the majority of cases, the MBC will process your personal data on the basis of its legitimate interest to organise relevant activities for its members.

The execution of an agreement with the MBC: as a partner, supplier or customer by signing an agreement with the MBC.

DURATION OF DATA STORAGE

The MBC only stores the collected data for the period strictly necessary to achieve the purpose for which the data was collected but also to comply with its legal obligations.

THE USE AND SHARING OF DATA

We only use the data for professional purposes. None of this data will be sold or shared except with our subcontractors.

In the context of legal and regulatory obligations, the MBC may exceptionally transfer your personal data to competent authorities or bodies determined by law without your consent.

DATA SECURITY

The MBC undertakes to monitor the security of your data. To this end, the MBC takes the necessary technical and organizational security measures.

The MBC staff also undertakes to respect the Privacy Policy and the security of your data by handling it adequately within the context of their assignment.

If you determine that the personal data we hold is incorrect, you can ask the MBC to correct, supplement or update it;

In the event that the processing of your personal data is based on your consent or on the performance of an agreement and provided that this data is processed by automatic processes, you may exercise the right to portability with regard to your personal data in our possession;
If the processing of your data is based on your consent, you can withdraw this consent at any time. However, this withdrawal only has effect for the future.
You can exercise the aforementioned rights, after which you can expect a response within 30 days after you have contacted the MBC in one of the ways stated below.
